Mr. Newton Kasese is proud to serve as the STEM teacher at William R. Davie Middle STEM Academy, where curiosity is cultivated and innovation is the expectation—not the exception.
With a passion for transforming classrooms into laboratories of possibility, Mr. Kasese is dedicated to moving students from being passive consumers of technology to active creators, designers, and problem-solvers. In his classroom, learning comes alive as students turn abstract ideas into real-world solutions through robotics, 3D printing, coding, drones, and immersive project-based learning. Whether students are programming their first app, engineering robotic systems, or analyzing local ecosystems, Mr. Kasese challenges them to think critically, collaborate boldly, and create with purpose.
Mr. Kasese brings 18 years of experience teaching science across multiple schools and states, with expertise in chemistry, biology, physical science, and integrated STEM. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Education and is currently continuing his studies to deepen his impact in the ever-evolving STEM field.
At William R. Davie, Mr. Kasese believes STEM is more than a subject—it’s a mindset. His mission is to equip Viking scholars with the skills, confidence, and curiosity needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world and to see themselves not just as learners, but as innovators who can shape the future.
